About Ashley Parent of Wisconsin
Our Review of Her as a Potential  Client

Our reviews are universally Five Stars by customers who have hired us and eaten our cuisine.

Ashley Parent was never a customer of ours. We declined to cater her wedding after interacting with her for a short time.

The attached images are from simple 30-second Google searches aimed to responsibly not cause attention to unrelated persons who share Ashley Parent's same name.

We always advise that our bespoke catering model entails quite a lot of basic "get to know you," questions that are unlike "would you like fries with that?" or "do you want pepperoni or sausage?" or "would you prefer beef tips or chicken breasts?," or "What is the delivery address?" Ashley engaged in what we felt was gas-lighting of us, although the only thing we did was exactly what we explicitly advised her to expect from the very start.

We declined Ashley as a potential client after brief conversations and a few text exchanges. We felt she was moving the goalposts along the way, wanting more than she initially asked for but wanting it at the same cost, which raised up cautions.

Wisconsin has thousands of wedding venues. We routinely make cordial contact with venues to better understand their amenities. In her public commentary of us, Ashley stated, "He went as far as contacting our venue without our permission and requested info on the space."

We have a record showing that we explicitly asked Ashley for the specific contact person at her venue, whose explicit name and manager she explicitly gave to us, so we could find out more information. We feel that this was an examaple of her gas-lighting us

Ultimately, her venue was a rare one that simply did not adequately fit bespoke catering in her price range, exactly as we stated to her when we declined her event.

Cooking outside but with dinner service on the 13th floor. One small elevator with over 100 people going up and down and up and down. At one point Ashley wanted a buffet, and at another she wanted gourmet plated dining but for the same price, which we declined to do; yet, she complained in public in an apparent spirit that that was somehow unfair to her.

Initially cordial but with far off unrealistic expectations given her non-benefiting venue and budget for bespoke catering, many months after we declined her event she turned to expressing what appears as unwarranted belligerence in public forums. This happened despite our best well wishes to her when we initially declined.

We wish our encounter with Ashley never happened but every business has, regrettably, had such an experience from time to time.

Since public forums are not the most appropriate way to solve misunderstandings, we graciously reached out to Ashley Parent in private some months later. To date, her responses have not been amicable.

Ashley Parent, or whatever her true identity is if it now differs, is under no obligation to us in any way whatsoever. Out of common courtesy we informed her that we wrote a good faith public review of her here in response to what we believe to be her bad faith public review of us. We have continued, to date, to seek an amicable conclusion with her without escalation as a solution to the defamatory statements she made concerning us.

We continue to wish her all the best!
